Installation

1. Déballage de l'imprimante

Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials, including tapes and protective films, are removed from the printer. Check the package contents against the packing list to confirm all components are present.

2. Connexion de l'alimentation

3. Connecting to Network/Computer

The Lexmark MS510dn supports both Ethernet and USB connectivity.

4. Installing Toner and Imaging Unit

The printer uses a combined toner cartridge and imaging unit. Refer to the instructions provided with your toner cartridge for specific installation steps. Ensure the unit is securely latched into place.

5. Chargement du papier

1. Ouvrez le bac à papier.
2. Ajustez les guides papier à la taille de votre papier.
3. Chargez la pile de papier dans le bac en veillant à ce qu'elle soit bien à plat et ne dépasse pas la ligne de remplissage maximale.
4. Fermez le bac à papier.

6. Configuration initiale du logiciel

Insert the installation CD provided with your printer into your computer's CD/DVD drive, or download the latest drivers from the Lexmark official website. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver and software installation.

Utilisation de l'imprimante

1. Impression de base

To print a document, open the document on your computer, select "Print" from the application's menu, choose the Lexmark MS510dn from the list of available printers, and click "Print".

2. Duplex Printing (Two-Sided Printing)

The MS510dn supports automatic duplex printing. To enable this feature, access the printer properties or preferences from your application's print dialog box and select the two-sided printing option.

1. Remplacement de la cartouche de toner

When the toner level is low, the printer's LCD will display a warning. Follow these general steps to replace the toner cartridge:

1. Ouvrez le capot avant de l'imprimante.
2. Carefully remove the old toner cartridge and imaging unit assembly.
3. Unpack the new toner cartridge and imaging unit. Gently shake it to distribute the toner.
4. Insert the new assembly into the printer until it clicks into place.
5. Fermez le capot avant.

2. Nettoyage de l'imprimante

Un nettoyage régulier permet de maintenir la qualité d'impression et de prolonger la durée de vie de l'imprimante.

• Extérieur: Essuyez l'extérieur avec un chiffon doux et sec.amp, chiffon non pelucheux.
• Intérieur: Refer to the printer's internal cleaning instructions in the full user guide for specific components like the fuser or transfer roller.

3. Paper Jam Resolution

If a paper jam occurs, the printer's display will indicate the location of the jam. Follow the on-screen instructions or these general steps:

1. Éteignez l’imprimante et débranchez-la.
2. Open the access covers as indicated by the printer.
3. Gently pull out any jammed paper in the direction of the paper path. Avoid tearing the paper.
4. Fermez tous les capots, branchez l'imprimante et allumez-la.
