4. Installation et bobinage initial
4.1. Enroulement initial
As an automatic watch, the Raymond Weil 7730-BK-05207 is powered by the motion of your wrist. However, for initial use or after a period of inactivity, manual winding is recommended:
- Assurez-vous que la couronne est en position 1 (complètement enfoncée).
- Tournez la couronne dans le sens horaire environ 30 à 40 fois. Cela permettra de constituer une réserve de marche.
- The watch will start running.
4.2. Réglage de l'heure et de la date
- Réglage de la date : Pull the crown out to position 2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Réglage du jour : Pull the crown out to position 2. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day.
- Réglage de l'heure : Pull the crown out to position 3 (farthest out). The seconds hand will stop. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accuracy, set the time a few minutes ahead and then push the crown back to position 1 when a time signal (e.g., from a radio or phone) reaches the desired time.
- Once time and date are set, push the crown back to position 1 (fully pushed in) to ensure water resistance.

5.2. Échelle tachymétrique
The tachymeter scale on the bezel can be used to measure speed over a known distance (e.g., 1 kilometer or 1 mile). It can also be used to measure production rates.
- Start the chronograph at the beginning of the measured distance (e.g., when a car passes the starting line).
- Stop the chronograph when the object completes the distance (e.g., when the car passes the 1 km mark).
- The number on the tachymeter scale corresponding to the position of the central chronograph seconds hand indicates the speed (e.g., km/h or mph).
