Installation
Précautions de sécurité
- Couper l'alimentation to the heating/cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel before installation.
- This thermostat operates on 24 VAC or Millivolt systems. Ensure compatibility with your HVAC system.

Emplacement de montage
Install the thermostat on an inside wall, approximately 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the floor. Choose a location with good air circulation, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources (e.g., lamps, appliances, fireplaces).
Instructions de câblage
- Couper l'alimentation to the heating/cooling system.
- Retirez l'ancien thermostat du mur.
- Label the wires connected to your old thermostat with the corresponding terminal letters before disconnecting them.
- Mount the new thermostat base plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Connect the labeled wires to the appropriate terminals on the new thermostat. Refer to the wiring diagram specific to your heat pump system (typically found in your HVAC system's manual or by consulting a professional).
- Insert the two AA batteries into the battery compartment.

Opération
The Emerson 1F89-0211 thermostat features a simple interface for controlling your home's temperature.
Commutateur système
The system switch allows you to select the operating mode for your HVAC system.

Réglage de la température

Entretien
Remplacement de la batterie
The thermostat is dual-powered (hardwired or battery powered). If using batteries, replace the two AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Retirez délicatement le corps du thermostat de la plaque murale.
- Retirez les anciennes piles AA.
- Insérez deux piles alcalines AA neuves en veillant à respecter la polarité (+/-).
- Remettez le corps du thermostat en place sur la plaque murale.
Nettoyage
Nettoyez l'extérieur du thermostat avec un chiffon doux et sec.amp chiffon. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ou de solvants.
