Please read these instructions carefully before using the Beurer GS 14 glass bathroom scale. Keep this manual for future reference.
- The scale is designed for personal weight measurement.
- Maximum weight capacity is 150 kg (330 lb / 23 st 8 lb). Do not exceed this limit.
- The scale features a glass surface. Stand centrally on the scale to prevent tipping. Avoid jumping on the scale.
- Always place the scale on a firm, level surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy.

3. Installation
- Installation de la batterie : If the battery is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the included Lithium-metal battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

4. Mode d'emploi
- Activating the Scale: The Beurer GS 14 scale uses a vibration sensor for activation. Gently tap the center of the scale with your foot or step onto it. The display will show "0.0" or "0.00".

- Prendre une mesure : Once "0.0" or "0.00" is displayed, step onto the scale barefoot and stand still. Your weight will be displayed within a few seconds.
- Arrêt automatique: La balance s'éteindra automatiquement après environ 10 secondes d'inactivité afin de préserver la batterie.
5. Conversion d'unités
The Beurer GS 14 scale can display weight in kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), or stones (st). To change the unit:
- Locate the unit conversion button on the underside of the scale, usually near the battery compartment.
- Press the button to cycle through the available units (kg, lb, st). The selected unit will be shown on the display.
6. Maintenance et entretien

7. Dépannage
| Problème | Solution |

| Lectures inexactes ou incohérentes. | Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface. Re-weigh yourself; sometimes the first measurement after a long period of inactivity can be slightly off. Ensure you are standing still and centrally on the scale. |
| Affichage de « Lo » ou « Err ». | "Lo" indicates low battery; replace the battery. "Err" may indicate overload (weight exceeds 150 kg) or a measurement error; step off and try again. |
