Instructions d'installation
1. Extending the Monopod Legs
The Benro MC-91EX features multiple leg sections for adjustable height. To extend the monopod:
- Locate the leg locks on each section. These are designed to be dust and water-resistant.
- Twist each leg lock counter-clockwise to loosen the section.
- Gently pull the leg section downwards to extend it to the desired length.
- Twist the leg lock clockwise to secure the section firmly in place. Ensure all locks are tightened before use to prevent collapse.

2. Attaching a Camera or Head
The monopod is equipped with a mounting screw at the top for attaching a camera directly or a compatible camera head.
- Ensure the camera or head has a standard 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch tripod socket.
- Align the camera/head's socket with the monopod's mounting screw.
- Rotate the camera/head clockwise until it is securely fastened.
- For added security, the monopod features a set screw in the camera platform. Once the head is attached, tighten this set screw to prevent accidental loosening.

1. Holding the Monopod
Proper grip is essential for stability.
- Use the foam grip on the top leg section for comfortable and secure handling, especially in cold or wet conditions.
- Utilize the integrated hand strap by looping it around your wrist. This provides an extra layer of security and helps distribute the weight.

2. Positioning for Stability
To maximize stability, position the monopod correctly.
- Place the rubber leg tip firmly on the ground. The rubber tip provides a secure grip on various surfaces.
- Lean the monopod slightly towards your body, creating a stable three-point contact with the ground and your body.
- Adjust the leg length so that the camera is at a comfortable eye level for shooting.
Entretien
1. Nettoyage
- After use, especially in dusty or wet environments, wipe down the monopod with a soft, damp tissu.
- Pay attention to the leg locks and joints to remove any accumulated dirt or debris. The dust and water-resistant design helps, but regular cleaning is still recommended.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the carbon fiber finish or rubber components.
2. Stockage
- Store the monopod in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the legs are fully retracted and all locks are lightly tightened for compact storage.

Dépannage
- Les sections des jambes ne s'étendent/ne se rétractent pas correctement : Check for dirt or debris in the leg locks. Clean as per maintenance instructions. Ensure locks are fully loosened.
- Le monopode semble instable : Verify that all leg locks are fully tightened. Ensure the rubber leg tip is making firm contact with the ground. Adjust your stance for better balance.
- Camera/head loosening: Ensure the camera or head is securely screwed onto the mounting platform. Tighten the set screw on the platform if applicable.
