2. Guide de configuration

2.1. Installation de la batterie

  1. Unité principale : Open the battery compartment on the back of the main weather station unit. Insert 2 x AA IEC LR3 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Capteur extérieur : Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 x AAA IEC LR3 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

2.2. Synchronisation et placement initiaux

  • Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation, to ensure accurate temperature readings. The maximum transmission distance is 100 meters in open field conditions.
  • Once batteries are installed in both units, the main station will automatically begin searching for the outdoor sensor signal and the DCF-77 radio signal for time synchronization. This process may take several minutes.
  • If the time does not synchronize automatically, ensure the DCF function is ON (refer to the Operating section for DCF ON/OFF setting).
  • For optimal reception, place the main unit away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

After the DCF-77 signal is received, you may need to adjust the time zone. Use the ENSEMBLE button to enter time setting mode and the + button to adjust the time zone offset (+/- 12 hours) if your location is not in the Central European Time Zone.

3. Mode d'emploi

3.1. Afficher les informations

  • MIN MAX: Records of minimum and maximum indoor/outdoor temperatures.

3.2. Fonctions des boutons

  • SET: Press to enter time/date setting mode. Hold to confirm settings.
  • +: In setting mode, press to increase values. Outside setting mode, press to toggle DCF ON/OFF.
  • ALARME: Appuyez pour view or set the alarm time. Hold to activate/deactivate the alarm.
  • MIN MAX: Appuyez pour view minimum and maximum temperature records. Press again to cycle through indoor min, indoor max, outdoor min, outdoor max.
  • RÉINITIALISER: Press to clear MIN/MAX records. Hold to reset the entire unit to factory defaults.

3.3. Réglage de l'alarme

4. Entretien

4.1. Remplacement de la batterie

When the low battery indicator appears on the display for either the main unit or the outdoor sensor, replace the batteries promptly. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones of the same type.

4.2. Nettoyage

Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from direct weather elements and is within effective transmission range of the main unit. Obstructions like thick walls or metal structures can reduce signal strength.
