Follow these steps to set up your LogiLink NBS002 security lock and configure your personal combination code.

1. The lock is preset to 0-0-0.
2. Locate the small reset button or screw on the side of the lock mechanism. (Refer to image below for typical location).
3. Using a pen or a small pointed object, press and hold the reset button/screw.
4. While holding the reset button, rotate the dials to your desired 3-digit combination. Choose a memorable but secure code.

2. Attaching the Lock to Your Laptop

1. Ensure your laptop has a standard security slot (Kensington lock slot), usually found on the side or back edge.
2. Enter your combination code (the preset 0-0-0 or your newly set code) to unlock the mechanism.
3. Insert the lock head into the security slot on your laptop.
4. Rotate the lock head 90 degrees to secure it within the slot.

Operating the Security Lock

To secure your laptop, follow these steps:

1. Attach the lock to your laptop as described in the "Setup" section.

3. Pass the lock head or the cable loop through the other end of the cable to create a secure loop around the object.
