4. Installation

Suivez ces étapes pour la configuration initiale :

1. Positionnement de la pompe : Place the pump on a stable, level surface in the area to be drained. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in at least 2 inches of water for optimal operation.
2. Connecting the Discharge Hose:
   • For standard garden hoses, attach the included garden hose adapter to the 1-1/4 inch Male NPT discharge pipe on the pump. Tighten securely.
   • For larger discharge pipes (1-1/4 inch NPT), connect directly to the pump's discharge outlet.
   Ensure the discharge hose is routed away from the area being drained to prevent re-flooding.
3. Connexion électrique : Plug the 8-foot power cord into a grounded 115V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for added safety.

5. Mode d'emploi

The Simer 2300-04 pump is designed for simple operation:

1. Initiating Operation: Once the pump is submerged and the discharge hose is connected, plug the pump into the electrical outlet. The pump will begin operating immediately.
2. Surveillance: Observe the pump's operation to ensure water is being discharged effectively. The pump is capable of moving up to 1320 gallons per hour (GPH).
